Thomas J. Davis, 67, of Carbondale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, July 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the home of his brother in Forest City. His beloved wife, the former Joan Mayock, preceded him in death in 2016.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Joanne (McGurgan) Davis. Tom was a 1977 graduate of Carbondale Area High School and a faithful member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. He was a dedicated employee of Domino's Pizza, where he proudly worked as a delivery driver for more than 15 years. He was also previously employed by Gentex Corporation, Simpson. Tom enjoyed riding his bicycle, listening to his favorite music at full volume, and spending time with those he loved.

He is survived by three brothers: Clarence R. Davis and his companion, Linda Ortmann, of Clifford; Ronald Davis, of Carbondale; and Scott Davis and his wife, Christine, of Forest City. He is also survived by a step-sister, Gloria Maddage, of Carbondale; two stepchildren, Amy Mayock, of Scranton, and Robbie Mayock, of Scranton; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Tom was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Christine Ann Davis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale. Family and friends may visit the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale.
