Stanley Diamond

Stanley Diamond, 82, of Olyphant, passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Joy Fedorchak Diamond, by his side on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Commonwealth Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Harry and Florence Diamond.

After living in New Jersey, Stanley moved to Olyphant more than 30 years ago. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. A hardworking and caring person, Stanley loved his children, grandchildren, and family dearly and would do absolutely anything for them. He adored his beloved dog, Tilly, and was an avid New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his wife, Joy Fedorchak Diamond, Stanley is survived by his children, Garrett, Robin, Leigh, and Carly; his grandchildren, Raileigh, Arlena, Emma, Rena, and Casey; his cousin, Joan Cowlan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis and Dennis Diamond.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Hudak-O’Shea & Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant.
