Phillip M. Gonzales, 33, of Forest City, died Friday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre. His wife is Mariah Bonacci Gonzales.
Born in Carbondale, son of the late Michael Gonzales and Denise Doherty, he loved his children more than anything. He was a hard worker who was the head service technician at A1 Affordable Chimney where he worked for the last five years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Gabionna, Hazel, Nova-Sky and Harmony Gonzales; sons, Lexington, Phillip and Jonathan Gonzales; three brothers, John, Michael and James Gonzales; a sister, Kristina Davis; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Doherty.
The funeral will be Thursday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 2 Hospital St., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment at a future date, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
