Marysue Galati Andzulis, 67, Carbondale, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Allied Hospice, Scranton, after a brief battle with brain cancer.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of Carmella Galati and the late Michael Angelo Galati. She worked at Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin.

Surviving are: two daughters, Shannon Rock and husband, Brian, Carbondale; Lauren Andzulis and partner, Corey Petrokonis, Carbondale; grandchildren, Madison Rock, Carbondale; Chase Petrokonis, Carbondale; former husband, Michael Andzulis, Acre Lake; a brother, Joseph Galati, Carbondale; a sister, Theresa Kaminsky and husband, Stanley, Greenfield Twp.;  nieces and nephews, including among others, Kimberly Kaminsky; Tracey Kaminsky; Krissy Tuzze; nephew, Stanley Kaminsky Jr.;  a great niece, Lilliana Cerra; and several cousins.

The funeral will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Carbondale. Cremation will follow.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 9, 2024, in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Wednesday morning between 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
