Lois A. Leonard, 75, Carbondale, died Sunday at home. Her husband is Francis Leonard. They would have been married 50 years on Jan. 26.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Carmine and Mary Taugher Pinch, Lois was a seamstress in the garment industry for many years.

She was an avid bowler, golfer, card player and enjoyed crocheting.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Shawn Leonard McClure, Washington D.C.; two daughters, Lisa Krucar, Carbondale; Carol Sheare and husband, Trevor, Carbondale; grandchildren, Rebecca Dunton, Megan Krucar, Amanda Scullion, Madison Matthews, Justin Sheare, Brandon Sheare and Trevor Sheare IV; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Connolly and wife, Angie, Connecticut; two sisters, Carmella Sears, Arizona, and Delores Cotter, Carbondale; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, at a future date.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
