Leroy W. Frisbie, 86, Waymart died Saturday at Geisinger CMC. His wife is Beverly Robinson Frisbie. They would have celebrated their 65th anniversary in a few months.
Born in Lake Ariel, son of the late Walter and Ruth Shaffer Frisbie, he was a farmer for more than 50 years. He loved farming and never regretted it. He loved his family and he lived for his wife.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: three sons, Bruce Frisbie, South Canaan; Brian Frisbie, Fla.; Barry Frisbie, Archbald; four daughters, Beth Fashauer, Simpson; Bonnie Cribb-Frisbie, Fla.; Betsy Henning, Carbondale and Brenda Gibon, South Canaan; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements, Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St. Carbondale.
