Judi Goffredo Mozeleski, 75, Carbondale, who valiantly battled cancer for more than 30 years, died Monday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore surrounded by her loving family. Her husband is Anthony Mozeleski Jr..

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Renna Goffredo, she cherished time spent with her family and friends. She was a hospital lab technician for many years and retired after 19 years as a senior account executive at Fisher Health Care. Judi loved to travel and for more than 40 years enjoyed lunches with a tremendous group of friends. An inspiration to many, her stated philosophy to each day was, “When you hear it said you only live once, I disagree. I truly believe you live everyday. You only die once.”

The family extends its deepest gratitude to Wayne Memorial Hospital staff; Hematology and Oncology Associates staff; Dr. Kishori; Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, staff.

In addition to her husband, Anthony, she is survived by: a son, Anthony Mozeleski III and wife, Lisa, Kingston; Dr Eric Mozeleski and wife, Deann, Alabama; a daughter, Mary Jude Ulmer, Carbondale; grandchildren, Madelyn Mozeleski; Evelyn Mozeleski; Anna Mozeleski; Jacob Ulmer; Ella Mozeleski; Nathan Ulmer; a sister, Mary Ann Besten and husband, Joseph, Carbondale; a brother, Dominic Goffredo and wife, Sharon, Peckville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lena and Michael Renna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Carbondale (Our Lady of the Rosary Parish). Interment will follow in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
