Joseph Kull, 86, Carbondale, died Friday July 17th at Geisinger CMC, Scranton. His wife was the late Theresa Kull.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Anthony and Mary Kull, he was a forklift operator at RCA. Joe was passionate about hunting, fishing and sports. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed supporting his late sons during their high school careers. Joe looked forward to the Lions Club Dream Game each year. Joe loved spending time with friends and neighbors. Being a fishing enthusiast, he enjoyed getting kids interested in fishing and organized fishing events that pre-dated the Lackawanna Fishing Derby program.

He is survived by: two daughters, Mary Shaughnessy, Collegeville; Joanne Kull, Telford; granddaughter, Jade Tozzi, NJ. He was preceded in death by two sons, Frank Kull and James Kull.

As per Joe’s wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
