Joseph J. Gigliotti, 52, Carbondale died at home on Thursday.

Born in Carbondale, son of Robert Gigliotti and the late Paula Juliano Gigliotti, he worked at Tobyhanna Army Depot. He adored his kids, enjoyed attending all their sports activities and was a Little League coach.

Surviving are: two sons, Joseph Gigliotti, Philadelphia; Dominic Gigliotti and partner, Brianna Daley, Carbondale; a daughter, Shawna Gigliotti, Philadelphia; a grandson, Giuseppe Gigliotti, Carbondale; two brothers, Robert Gigliotti, Bear Creek; Anthony Gigliotti, Carbondale; a sister, Julie Gigliotti, Carbondale; a nephew, Wyatt Gigliotti; niece, Adrianna Gigliotti; several aunts and uncles.

On Monday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., the family will receive friends at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. A prayer service will be held at 5:45 pm. Interment will be held at a later date.
