John James Roscioli

John James Roscioli, 66, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Ruth Ann (Gilia) Roscioli and the late John Francis Roscioli. John was a proud veteran with the United States Army reserve. He was also a talented artist with a natural gift for drawing, often expressing himself through his artwork. He had a deep appreciation for motorcycles. John had the “gift of gab” and was rarely at a loss for words.

In addition to his mother, Ruth Ann, he is survived by his daughter, Angela Roscioli, Peckville; his sister, Laura Roscioli Lovett and her husband Alan, Vandling; his brother, Richard Roscioli and his wife Marcy, Jermyn; and his three grandchildren, Cassie, Katrina, and Aaron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2 Hospital Street, Carbondale.
