Jennifer Lynn Santanna, 42, of Carbondale, died Saturday.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of Patricia Cowan, John Santanna and late stepmother, Cheryl Santanna. Jennifer loved working with children and had a great love for her pets. She previously worked part-time for NEIU and the Carbondale YMCA. Her favorite hobby was gardening especially working on her plants/flowers.

Surviving are two sons, Ethen Santanna, Carbondale; and Liam Rooney, Carbondale; four brothers, Anthony Santanna, Wilkes-Barre; John Santanna, Childs; Zachary Santanna, Scranton; and Matthew Lott, New York; four sisters, Jennifer Collura, Archbald; Misty Savage, Archbald; Destiny Santanna, California; and Maria Wakefield, New York; and grandmother, Jean Tusko, Eynon.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. in Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. The Rev. Allan Rupert, pastor, Primitive Methodist Church, Jermyn, will offer a prayer service at 5:45 p.m.
