Glenn Melnyk, 64, of Carbondale, died Sunday at his residence.

Born in New Jersey, son of the late Frank and Joan Whoeler Melnyk, he enjoyed cooking and fishing.

Surviving are a son, Glenn Melnyk Jr. and wife, Danielle, Simpson; four grandchildren, Anthony, Noah, Amelia and Wyatt; three sisters, Victoria Davis and husband, Peter, Carbondale; Kimberly Koons and husband, Bill, Leesburg, Fla.; and Deborah Geoghan, Hazleton; a brother, Anthony Melnyk, Keysport, N.J.; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements by Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale.
