Gerald “Jerry” Chellino, 65, Archbald, died Friday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. His wife is Kathryn Murnin Chellino.
Born in Carbondale, son of the late Gerald and Joan Sikorski Chellino, he was a wonderful uncle and friend. He was an avid Penn State fan; NY Giants and NY Yankees fan. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his special buddy, Sandro Schuh. Jerry’s wife, Kathryn and family extend deepest gratitude to: Dr. Dodge for years of care for Jerry; the nurses at Elan Skilled Nursing; the trauma team and nurses at CMC fourth floor surgical; Geisinger PCU fourth floor staff.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a sister, Michele Chellino and Pete Larioni, Jessup; a nephew, Jason Kohut; special friends, Brian, Melissa and Sandro Schuh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Parish’s St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale by Rev. Joseph Mosley, Pastor. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends in the church from 9 a.m. until Mass time.
