Gaye Elder, 68, Carbondale died Tuesday at home.

Born in Clearfield, daughter of the late William and Helen McVay, she enjoyed watching movies, spending time with her family and did clerical work for mortgage companies.

She is survived by a son, Matt Elder, grandchildren, Blake, Dilithia and Malcolm Elder and siblings, Ann, Lidia, Karen, Anita and Norma Jean.

Arrangements by Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale.

As per Gaye’s wishes, there are no services.
