Gary F. Kielar Jr., 44, Carbondale, died Sunday at Allied Hospice, Scranton.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Debbie Carite Kielar, and Gary F. Kielar and Carol Kielar.

He is survived by a daughter, Ava Kielar; half-sisters, Cassie Clarkson, of Plymouth; Marissa Grosso and her husband, Justin, of Moon Twp.; Emily Kielar, of Jersey City, N.J; grandmother, Rose Kielar, of Carbondale; nephew, Phoenix Davis, several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a stepbrother, William Clarkson, of Throop.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
