Edward Burgos, 70, Carbondale, died at home Tuesday.

Born in Connecticut, son of the late Ismael and Yolanda Diaz Burgos, he worked for the Florida Department of Alcohol and Drug Abuse before retirement.

Surviving are a sister, Aida Morales, Simpson; nephews, Luis Morales, Simpson; Daniel and Robert Morales, Arizona; and Joseph Damario, Missouri.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Myrna Burgos.

Services and interment will be held in Puerto Rico.
