Diane M. Tyriw, 70, Greenfield Township, passed away Saturday at Commonwealth Regional Hospital of Scranton.  She and her husband, William “Bill” Tyriw have been married for 23 years.  They would have celebrated their 24 ^th wedding anniversary on December 2, 2024.

Born in Binghamton NY, daughter of the late Elmer Cornell and Shirley Jenkins, she was a member of East Benton United Methodist Church as well as the East Benton Cemetery Association for many years.

In addition to her husband, William “Bill” Tyriw, survivors include two children: Crystal-Lynn Sweet, Johnson City NY; Thomas Morse, Binghamton NY area; a granddaughter, Caitlyn Sweet; three step-children: Bob Tyriw, Becky Nelson, and Gordy West.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Sharon and Gayle.

The funeral will be Saturday, June 22, 2024, with services at 12:00 noon in the East Benton United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the church.
