Daniel Evarts Sr., 63, Scott Twp., died Friday, September 13, 2024.

Born in Scranton, son of the late David R. and Katherine Seeley Evarts, he worked for Pepsi as a truck driver and did warehouse work. He loved his job; working on cars; going to casinos; playing scratch off tickets and had a strong work ethic.

Surviving are: three children, Danielle Evarts, Scranton; Daniel Evarts Jr., Scranton; Tiffany Evarts, Olyphant; George Evarts Jr, who he raised like a son; three grandchildren, Crystal Dougher; James Evarts; Thomas Dougher Jr.; three great grandchildren, Vanessa Evarts; Damian Evarts; Matthias Evarts; five siblings, Tim Evarts; George Evarts; Peter Evarts; Alberta Chapman; Betsy Candlieri; Lora Chellino, friend, Scott Twp; eight step-children; several great step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death: by four siblings, Richard Evarts; Edward Evarts; Connie Doyle; Joy Evarts.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
