Cecelia Sirianni, 74, Carbondale, died Wednesday at Geisinger CMC. Her husband was the late Peter Sirianni.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Domonick and Philamena Luparella Ruggiero, Cecelia’s life revolved around her children. She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. Cecelia loved music and dancing and was an Elvis Presley fan. Wherever you would see Cecelia, she always had a large cup of coffee in her hand. She worked as a nurse’s assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital and in Home Health.

Surviving are: two sons, Peter Sirianni and Tony Sirianni, both of Carbondale; two grandsons, Anthony Sirianni, Forest City and Joshua Sirianni, Carbondale; a step granddaughter, Chelsea Castle; a brother, Richard Ruggiero and wife, Mary, Carbondale; nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Monday with Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Carbondale. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.  The family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 a.m. until Mass time at 9:30 a.m.
