Catherine Telemko, 87, of Carbondale, died Sunday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Her husband was the late Anthony Telemko.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late James and Frances Crisalli, she was a seamstress. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was very giving, enjoyed preparing Sunday dinner for her family, traveling, especially going to the beach, going to the casino and winning, playing bingo, watching sports and following her favorites, the Yankees and KC Chiefs.

The family extends its sincere gratitude to Hospice of the Sacred Heart staff for their kindness and professional care.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Telemko, Carbondale; a son-in-law, Louis Nepa, Delaware; grandchildren, Tara Steiner and husband, Matthew, W.Va.; Jason Nepa and wife, Jessica, Jefferson Twp.; great-grandchildren, Berkeley Nepa, Cole Nepa and Landon Steiner; a sister, Francine Grecco, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie Nepa; brothers, Samuel, Frank and James Crisalli; and sisters, Angie Levandowski and Josephine Paul.

The funeral will be Friday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. Inurnment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
