Betty Hobday Aileo Anschuetz, 99, of Carbondale, died Saturday at her residence. Her first husband was the late John Aileo. Her second husband was the late August Anschuetz.

Born in Hawley, daughter of the late Schank and Carrie Harlow Hobday, she worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Carbondale, for more than 30 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Aileo and husband, Patrick Kennedy, Clarks Green; Mary Aileo, Carbondale; and Cindy Carney and husband, Joseph, Phoenixville; grandchildren, Tony Aileo and wife, Maribeth, Jessup; Jay Aileo and wife, Cindy, Simpson; Eric Williamson and wife, Tammy, Scranton; David Aileo, Carbondale; and Rachael Carney, Phoenixville; great-grandson, Tony Aileo III, Jessup; and a nephew, Bob Molter and wife, Cathy, Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Aileo; a son, John Aileo; two sisters, Evelyn Hobday and Edie Molter; and a daughter-in-law, Sherry Aileo.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Carbondale First United Methodist Church. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
