Antoinette F. Sirianni, 100, of Mayfield, died Friday at Carbondale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband was the late Peter Sirianni.
Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Angelo and Frances Dottle Molinaro, she worked as a seamstress at many local companies in the garment industry many years ago and was on the cleaning staff at Carbondale Area School District before retirement. She was an avid baker. She enjoyed activities such as the Thursday Morning Bowling League; Mayfield Over 50 Club and senior center.
The family extends its appreciation to the Carbondale Nursing staff for their kind and compassionate care.
Surviving are daughters, Mary Frances (Thomas Howell) Fife, Mayfield; Eve (Anthony) Smith, North Carolina; and Christine (Cliff) Levison, Waymart; grandchildren, Peter Sirianni, Anthony Sirianni, Marisa Fife, Laura (Sean) Tierney, Alaina (Josh Orloski) Fife, Richard Wheeler, Emily (Eddie) Jones and AJ Smith; great-grandchildren, Anthony Sirianni, Joshua Sirianni, Shelby Fife, Abigail Tierney, Isabella Tierney, Jakob Gross, Benjamin Gross and Avi Orloski; great-great-grandchildren, Lucy Rowan, Maisie Rowan, Amelia Sirianni and Isla Rock; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Peter Paul Sirianni; brothers, James, Carmine, Samuel, Angelo and Frank Molinaro; sisters, Angie Prutisto, Mary Donato and Eleanor Surace; a son-in-law, Richard Fife; and a daughter-in-law, Cecelia Sirianni.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. A gravesite service at Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Twp. will follow.
