Anthony J. Veina, 68, Carbondale, died early Sunday morning at home.

Born in Carbondale, son of the late Frank D. and Teresa (Tochelli) Veina, he was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Surviving are son: Anthony Veina and companion, Brittney Bartek, Carbondale; daughter: Robin Scalamonti and husband, Michael, Duryea; brother: Michael Veina, South Carolina; 2 grandchildren: Ryder and Michael, with another grandchild, Anthony J., on the way; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Veina.

The funeral will be Friday from the Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 74 N.
