Angela Miller, 95, formerly of Childs, passed away peacefully on Friday at Gino Merli Veterans Center, Scranton. Her husband of 73 years is Floyd Miller.

Born in Exeter on April 20, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Barone Battaglino.

She was a registered nurse and worked at Valley Forge General Hospital during World War II. She was a devoted Christian who spent her adult life giving to others and using her sewing skills to make quilts and sleeping bags for the homeless. She enjoyed entering homemade items in the Wayne County Fair.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two sons, Tom (Barbara) Miller, Abilene Texas; James (Jan) Miller, Springfield, MO.; a daughter, Margaret Mary Miller, Tyngsboro, Mass.; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister Margaret Yankay, Syracuse NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Patrick Battaglino and a sister, Regina Battaglino.

The family will receive friends at a memorial service on Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Gino Merli Veterans Center, 401 Penn Avenue, Scranton.

Interment at the convenience of the family.
