Alvin “Al” Frampton, 86, Greenfield Twp. died Monday at CareOne at Somerset Valley in Bridgewater Twp., NJ. His wife is Harriett Freelong Frampton.

Born in Ravenwood, Missouri, son of the late Raymond and Jalia Cornett Frampton, he owned and operated Main St. Sunoco, Carbondale for a number of years. He enjoyed going out to restaurants, fishing and antique cars. Al also enjoyed feeding his birds, squirrels and chipmunks every day.

Surviving are: three daughters, Angie Hutchins, Greenfield Twp.; Janice Hollander, NJ; and Frances Kulpak, NJ; five grandchildren, two sisters, several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
