Albert Dunn, 78, Carbondale died Friday at Carbondale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. His wife is the former Gloria Cole.

Born in New Jersey, son of the late Sanford and Mary Elizabeth Levens Dunn, he was a heavy equipment operator and apartments manager.

He is survived by: two sons, Albert Jr., Pennsylvania and Sanford, Carbondale; two daughters, Mary Lach, Scranton and Shirley Dunn, Florida; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

As per Albert’s request, private cremation services will be held at a later date.
